Some smart choices to consider:

  • Switch to organic, starting with milk & dairy, then root vegetables, then pasta & eggs.
  • Treat meat & fish as a luxury
  • Order a local, seasonal veg box (and fruit too if you can)
  • Try growing some of your own food - you will definitely have a greater appreciation for farmers!
  • Cook from raw ingredients as much as you can
  • Ask your kids school, workplace cafe, favourite take-away about where their food is sourced
