This issue is acknowledged by Cleeve Community 2050 but falls outside of the scope of our activities. However we note that the local integrated care board (ICB) states the following:
“We are committed to ensuring that services in the local area meet and exceed the expectations of our population. Your feedback is therefore very important and we strongly encourage you to share your experience with us so we can use it to help maintain, improve or if necessary, change the services we commission.”

What can you do about it?
Advice on noise reduction includes:
- Creating a barrier to deflect the sound waves such as a wall, fence, or vegetation.
- To make the traffic noise less noticeable you can use white noise indoors, or other noises e.g. a water feature outdoors.
- Installing double glazing, sealing any gaps, and using acoustic curtains.

Similar to traffic noise, plane noise can be a problem for Cleeve and its proximity to the airport.
Bristol Airport provide noise insulation grants to households a restricted area within the flight path.

Owners of businesses can apply to have an ATM installed on their premises. The business owner would have to be convinced that there was a need and that they could satisfy any security requirements.
The most obvious business owner to install an ATM in our area would be Touts (their Nailsea and Langford shops have ATMs).

Although there is no pharmacy in Cleeve it is possible to get prescriptions delivered. Contact your usual pharmacy to see if they offer this service.
